Ensemble Volte was formed in the spring of 2018 by a group of up-and-coming musicians determined to create events of great intensity and high artistic level, soliciting their dynamism and creativity.

 

Under the artistic direction of conductor Thomas Le Duc-Moreau, Ensemble Volte distinguishes itself by adding a touch of theatricality to its productions and by mixing classical music with other art forms, such as dance, poetry and the visual arts, thus offering an original and daring alternative to the traditional classical music concert formula. Volte is supported by a team that is committed to the development of artists of its generation within the Quebec cultural landscape.
